SPREAD uses worldly techniques applied to local ingredients to express the terroir of our region’s natural resources. Our foodways begin with the agricultural and Asian influences found in Peru, weaving north through the Americas with their Spanish and Native American roots, into the French influences of Cajun and Creole in the East Gulf Coastal Region, up to where we call North Carolina home. Rich in history and influence, our own agricultural and southern traditions allow us to creatively explore and express the narratives of our land and its inhabitants. Our hospitality is an extension of this philosophy. SPREAD is a reflection and homage to our terroir and the dynamic people who cultivate it.
